OPTIMAL CG GAME CHANGER TECHNOLOGY
Center of Gravity (CG) Placement is Critical for Amateurs
For years, the major brands located their CG close to the face and above the center of the face which is where their Tour pros wanted it to benefit their swing path, swing speed and ability to consistently hit on or near the center of the face.
LINKS Magazine had stated moving the location of the Center of Gravity (“CG”) just one 1 mm can have a “significant” effect on the performance of a golf club.
However, because amateurs' swings are so dramatically different than the Tour pros, High Heat's designer Dean Knuth knew that the ideal CG location for amateurs needed to optimize their performance had to be much deeper and lower than the major brands.
Therefore, High Heat driver’s CG was not located just 1 mm away from the major brands' average CG location, but 9 mm or 25% deeper and 4 mm or 18% lower than the major brands' average CG location.
